Bartlett named Camping Executive

The Board of Camp and Retreat Ministries has announced the selection of Rev. Todd Bartlett as Executive Director of Camp and Retreat Ministries for the Oregon-Idaho Annual Conference.
David Armstrong, Chair of the Board shared, “After a national search of candidates and an interview process we were pleased to invite Todd into this key leadership position.” Bartlett has served as Interim Executive Director since September of 2016 and as the Site Director at Alton L. Collins Retreat Center since 2009. An elder in the Oregon-Idaho Conference, he is a graduate of Boston University School of Theology. He served as a pastor in Bend, Pine Grove/Odell, Junction City, and Lebanon before becoming the Director at Alton L. Collins Retreat Center in 2009.
“He brings a wealth of experience and we are especially impressed with his pastoral presence in this time of transition for Camp and Retreat Ministries,” added Armstrong. “In a field of very strong candidates, Todd is the board’s unanimous choice to lead us forward, building on 95 years of outdoor ministry in Oregon and Idaho. Bartlett is currently filling the interim position half-time while also serving half-time as Director at Collins Retreat Center. He will transition to full-time as the Executive Director following the hiring of a new director for the retreat center.
