Facility: This facility has a multitude of features to accommodate large and small groups for a variety of events. Besides the beautiful main lodge for meals and fireside meetings, lodging is provided in rustic or deluxe cabins with comfortable accommodations for individuals, families, and groups. Food requirements and other arrangements can be made for group and individual needs.
Location: In northeastern Oregon, at the south end of Wallowa Lake, on Hwy 82 south of the cities of Enterprise and Joseph.
Setting: Wallowa Lake Camp is located near the south end of a large, pristine, glacial lake at the foot of the Wallowa Mountains and the Eagle Cap Wilderness Area. Towering mountains and evergreens, a river, and the nearby lake provide a peaceful, picturesque setting.
Features: Available activities on-site include volleyball, basketball, badminton, ping pong, swings, grassy fields, horseshoes, campfires, crafts, and outdoor education. There are both inside and outside environments for worship, personal meditation, and group discussions. Set within a prime resort area, nearby activities include boating, fishing, swimming, a tramway to superb high mountain views, wildlife and wildflower photography, paddle boarding, kayaking, miniature golf, hiking, and camping. Places to visit include antique shops, art galleries, bronze foundry tours, Nez Perce historic sites, and Hells Canyon.
Special Dietary Needs: When communicated in advance, we generally can provide menu items that will accommodate vegetarian and gluten-free needs. Outside of these, we need you to bring the special food items you require. Food allergies should always be communicated directly with the site. There are some complex needs that we may not be able to accommodate.
Site Reservations: Wallowa Lake Camp is available for use by individuals and families in addition to many nonprofit groups. Wallowa Lake Camp serves in partnership with our guests, who are expected to clean their cabin before checking out.
