Join us April 17th from 9am-noon PST as Shauna Signorini presents a virtual workshop on trauma and the impact it has on our children and how we can help.
Trauma is common in children and in our society; trauma can have impacts across the lifespan. The current global pandemic itself has been experienced as a traumatic event by many. We will learn practical ways to support a person who has experienced trauma.
· Define trauma and being trauma informed
· Understand possible lasting impact of toxic stress on development and behavior
· Recognizing flight, fight, and freeze
· Learn how relationship and activities rebuild the brain
